BRAND STORY

The Beginning

Starting a fashion brand was never something I imagined for myself.

I thought my path looked very different, having studied Psychology at university with the intention of becoming a psychologist. But after graduating, I realised my passion for it wasn’t there in the way I thought it would be. For a while, I felt a little lost, unsure of what I wanted next.

So I did what everyone else my age seemed to be doing, I packed up my life and moved halfway across the world to Australia.

That's where everything seemed to shift.

Living in Sydney, I became immersed in a slower way of life. I fell in love with calmer mornings, intentional routines, and unhurried evenings, a rhythm that felt so different from the constant pace and hustle of London.

At the same time, I unexpectedly found myself becoming involved in Sydney’s fashion scene. I even had the opportunity to attend Sydney Fashion Week two years in a row which felt crazy exciting! The more I was exposed to it, the more something clicked. I discovered a genuine love for creativity, storytelling, and being part of the journey of building a brand.

For the first time in a long time, I felt excited by something.

So when the time came to leave Australia and return home, I knew I wanted to bring that perspective back with me, not only the slower way of living I had grown to love, but also a new sense of direction.

The Name

Redleaf is named after my favourite spot in Sydney, a beautiful coastal beach on the harbour, if you ever visit you must go. It is truly divine!

Being so far from home, Redleaf became the place I went to when I needed to reset and reflect. Long before this brand existed, it was the place where many of the ideas behind it quietly began to take shape.

So when it came to choosing a name, Redleaf was the easiest decision. Naturally, I also leaned towards soft coastal tones for my first designs, which felt like a subtle way of tying everything back to where it all began.

The Making Of

Redleaf London began quietly as a passion project towards the end of 2025.

After two and a half years in Australia, I returned to London in March 2026 and dedicated my mornings and evenings outside of my full-time work to building the brand, slowly turning an idea into something real.
